Recently a friend of mine showed me a good looking phone that he knew I would instantly fall in love with. He also knew that I am a phone maniac and I love everything related to mobile communication and gadgets. I was feeling so sorry that I did not have enough money for that phone that I nearly cracked my head open in despair hitting my forehead against a brick wall. “What a lame teenager specific impulsive reaction I had earlier” I said to myself a few hours later holding on to my head. I just went online later and while I was surfing I found a website which would buy used cell phones. In an instant, something flashed in my mind. I knew that I had a great collection of phones and that I could easily sell them for big money.
But I was that someone who has never sold anything in his life and to be honest I really did not buy anything off the internet either! I was in such a desperate situation. The next day I asked my friend about this, and he told me a few things but they weren’t clear. When I got home I remembered that many people use online internet communities to get advice on many, many things and I just had to have a look on them. I searched online a few hours for some good forums and finally found one. I knew that I had to read every little post there, for it might contain vital information regarding best deals. I found something and that lead me to Google again.
I began searching on Google for how to sell my cell phone”, for everyone uses it and in the end I just typed, “sell my cell phone” and in an instant my page was just filled with results.
There were a lot of companies out there so I did not know which one to choose. All I knew is that I must search for the company that offers the most money for my phones. So I went through a 5 hour search and finally found a website that would be paying me the money I needed for that new phone. I was told that my mobile phones costs can increase or decrease depending on the quality they will be shipped in and the models and that meant, that if they are recent models, they would be paid better, if not, payment will decrease. I was ok with that and soon I found myself chatting with an employer from that website. I told him I had 50 cell phones (amazing isn’t it?) which I needed to ship asap! After a few calculations he told me that I will be paid $2600 through Paypal. That was the moment at which I started screaming in happiness!
In the end I asked him what will they do with these phones, and he kindly replied to me that they will either be used for the electronic parts that are still usable and some of them will be shipped to under developed countries, where these phones will really be something very cool!
